On the Outside others see you as smart, productive, strong, responsible, caring, wise, successful and “having it all together”. You are the person who others go to when they need help, advice or a shoulder to cry on.
On the Inside you sometimes feel like a fraud and can feel irritable, anxious, uncertain, vulnerable, alone, and empty.
You know how to work hard, push your limits, power through, fix problems and get things done.
But … you can take on too much, drive yourself to exhaustion… and no matter how much you accomplish and how hard you work, part of you feels like you’re never enough.
You have a big heart and love to help others.
But … you can get so focused on being there for others that you forget or diminish the need to take care of yourself and have difficulty asking for help.
